The Hare Krishna Project
Sharing Krishna Consciousness with a New Audience
The Hare Krishna Project is a UK-based national initiative that seeks to share Krishna Consciousness with a new audience.

It focuses on those 'hard to reach' areas of the UK where members of the public have never heard of Krishna or the Bhagavad Gita.

The team organise Hare Krishna festivals, kirtans and outreach events across the UK.

The project not only preaches but practices the values of equality and inclusion. It allows devotees from across the country to participate, whoever they are or wherever they are from.
Our Values
We want to be as inclusive as possible.

The Hare Krishna Project was set up based on the strong values of inclusion, tolerance and acceptance of others, and treating all individuals (whether practitioners of Krishna Consciousness or not) with the respect and dignity they deserve.

We not only preach about love, service and social equality – we strive to practice it too through our work, publications, and our daily dealings with others.

You are welcome here! Whoever you are or wherever you are from, The Hare Krishna Project wants to encourage and support you in your spiritual life.

“Do not discriminate in your heart between enemies and friends. Make your mind equipoise towards everyone. When one sees everyone on the platform of equality, one then comes to the position of worshiping the Lord perfectly.” – Srila Prabhupada
